Information about the Southern Districts of Greater Buenos Aires

A few kilometers south of the City of Buenos Aires, and limiting to the east with the famous Rio de la Plata (Silver River) you will find the Southern Districts of Greater Buenos Aires. This is an area with a large number of inhabitants, and a large variety on property types. In the more developed districts there is a large percentage of large apartments buildings and modern towers, contrasting with the less populated areas where you will mostly find houses, small ranches, and empty land, etc.

Buenos Aires, unlike all the other provinces in Argentina, is divided into what is here called a "partido" (literally game, meaning district) instead of "departamentos" (departments).
