Burzaco, together with Jose Marmol, Rafael Calzada, Claypole, Ministro Rivadavia, Longchamps and Glew, belong to the Almirante Brown District.
Burzaco is located is Southern Greater Buenos Aires, 22 Kilometers to the south of the City of Buenos Aires.
In Burzaco there is a square called Manuel Belgrano. In that square, on March 25th 1938, a Fundamental Stone was placed over which the monument to the flag of Argentina would be placed years later, becoming the first in the country. The second one was in Rosario but it was not inaugurated until 1957. Francisco Blumetti and Claudio León Sempere where its constructor and sculptor respectively, they where the people responsible for the national insignia found in Burzaco. The monument is 25 meters tall and is the pride of the people of Burzaco.
Burzaco is connected to the rest of the city by means of the General Roca train, which connects the Constitucion station with Glew and Alejandro Korn in the San Vicente District. The train is one of the most widely used means of transport to get to downtown Buenos Aires from Burazco, because it is quick and has cheap ticket. The Burzaco train station is very crowded during rush hours, because many people from other localities that don't have a train station come here to take the train, among these are San Francisco Solano, Claypole and Rafael Calzada. The current train station of Burzaco was constructed in 1888.
